At Thomla we strive to produce Malamutes as they were originally meant to be- structurally sound working dogs of the size needed to encapsulate the balance between strength, endurance and agility a freighting dog needs.

We feel it important to instinct test our dogs in all facets of traditional working fields, sledding, packing and weight pulling, to ensure we get correct Malamute temperament, and not golden retrievers in Malamute fur. We do so through the active Working Program offered by the Alaskan Malamute Club, Victoria Inc. (based on the AMCA Working Dog Program modified to suit Australian conditions), and all Working Dog Titles earnt by our dogs are AMCV titles.
